CREDITS & SOURCES.

Product photographs and the original shield logo are provided by Tuff Truck Supplies. The interactive engineering view brings together the separately credited model, lighting, software and typefaces below.

Volvo VNL model

This work is based on “volvo vnl 2025” by gelber, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The original source attribution is included with this build.

Modifications include brand navy paint (#0e1a33), refined paint, chrome, glass and rubber materials, removal of decorative livery, targeted triangle-winding repairs, wheel organization, and scroll-controlled truck and component movement. Eight rigid exterior assemblies were organized from existing source triangles: two hood mirrors, two door mirrors, two headlights, the grille and the front bumper. Source vertex positions, normals, UVs and useful texture detail are preserved during separation and reassembly.

A uniform presentation scale of 0.922039325 places the tractor roof at 4.075 metres, below the trailer’s 4.1148-metre roof. The tractor’s proportions are preserved; this adjustment does not make the source an exact factory model or establish other OEM dimensions. Trailer coupling was recalibrated separately.

The artist identifies the source as a 2025 VNL. It has not been independently verified as a 2027 VNL 880 or an exact factory model. This independent visualization does not imply Volvo endorsement or establish product fitment. Next-generation VNL replacement parts are presented as coming soon. The static fallback is a capture of this same rendered scene.

53-foot dry van trailer

The trailer is based on “Truck Trailer FREE” by NLM, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Its detailed suspension, tires, panel hardware and door geometry come from that model. The body was adapted to nominal dimensions of 53 feet long, 102 inches wide and 13 feet 6 inches high; its geometry was optimized, landing gear raised, wheel motion organized and materials prepared for the rendered scene. Coupling and body landmarks were recalibrated while the roof and tire-contact heights remained fixed. Tuff Truck Supplies’ original shield and company name were added to both sides.

The source is not identified as a particular manufacturer’s 53-foot model. The adapted visualization does not establish manufacturing fit, load rating or compliance. Trailer source and reference notes are included.

Product photography & identity

The product photographs and original shield logo are used with the owner’s authorization. Slide images use crops, background masking and restrained clarity processing while preserving the photographed parts and their shapes. The original source photographs remain unchanged. No generated product photographs are presented as real parts.

Tuff Truck Supplies is an independent parts supplier. Manufacturer names identify truck applications; their use does not imply manufacturer affiliation or endorsement. Product photographs do not establish compatibility with the new-generation truck in the engineering view.

Studio & reflection lighting

The truck, trailer, matte floor, camera and shadows share one live 3D studio scene. The neutral studio background and floor are created in code; no road or landscape photograph is displayed behind the rig.

Photographic softbox reflections and environment illumination use Studio Small 08 by Sergej Majboroda, from Poly Haven, under CC0. The unchanged 2K HDRI is filtered for rendering. Its photographed room is used for lighting rather than as the visible background.

This is an independent 3D visualization, not filmed truck footage or a measured automotive studio. Studio and lighting source notes are included.

Rendering software

The interactive scene uses locally hosted Three.js and its loaders, under the MIT license. Scroll progress controls the original scene choreography.

Geometry is compressed losslessly with meshoptimizer and decoded using its locally hosted MIT-licensed decoder. The decoded geometry and original textures are unchanged.

Typefaces

Barlow Condensed, by Jeremy Tribby and the Barlow Project Authors, is used for display type in weights 600 and 700. The SIL Open Font License 1.1 is included.

IBM Plex Sans, by IBM, is used for body text and interface labels. The SIL Open Font License 1.1 is included. Both families are self-hosted as WOFF2 files; the page does not request a remote font service.
